Production Manager/Administration Assistant
Lucy graduated Adelaide Centre for the Arts in 2008 and the Acting Shakespeare course at London’s Royal Academy of Performing Arts in 2013 and provides acting and voice talent in short films, television and radio advertising, corporate training and theatre.
Lucy loves creating theatre; and has been a recipient of numerous grants for development of new works, including female body image play IM-PERFECTION (co-writer/performer/composer) and a webseries pilot. Lucy is a co-founder of INafield productions; writing, producing and performing in the group’s regular live sketch comedy shows of The Golden Phung –nominated for ‘Best Emerging Comedian’ (2010 Fringe), ‘Best Newcomer’ (Adelaide Comedy) and winner of the ‘City of Adelaide Performing Arts Award’, performed in the 2011 Melbourne International Comedy Festival and was nominated for ‘The Talkfringe People’s Choice Award’ in 2013.
Lucy was a puppeteer for Camp Quality, performing regularly in school shows and toured regionally in 2012 to the Fleurieu and Yorke Peninsulas. Lucy’s directorial debut was the self-devised Jake’s Page and Ash (2012) at Urban Myth Youth Theatre, was a Facilitating Artist at Saints Performing Arts Academy and directed the Australian premiere of Will and the Ghost for Blackbox @ the Bakehouse.
Recently, Lucy Assistant Directed Caleb Lewis’ Clinchfield for the Flinders University Drama Workshop and has just finished filming a webseries. She continues her third year as an Artist in Residence at The Adelaide Secondary School of English under Brink Productions, teaches at Theatre Bugs and has performed in Holden Street’s Fringe show ‘Shakespeare for Kids’.
