Georgia is currently working full time in data configuration, as well as a part time piano teacher, babysitter and tutor, aspiring to begin a Bachelor of Education University Degree. Music, dance and drama have been a huge part of Georgia’s life from the age of 2 when she attended her first fairy ballet class. Since then she has studied a variety of dance forms including ballet, classical, jazz, funk, tap and hip hop. During this time, also completely devoted to learning a variety of instruments including the piano, guitar, drums, clarinet, voice and the trumpet, which she played for 6 years in her school band.
These studies provided an abundance of performance opportunities from a very young age, encouraging her to feel completely comfortable on stage. Georgia has been involved with Theatre Bugs sporadically over the past 9 years, as a student, volunteer and later on assistant. Once passing the age to participate in the quarterly Junior Holiday Programs (JHP’s) Georgia decided to return to the Glenelg Program’s as a volunteer. The highlights of her performance career at Theatre Bugs include the main character roles at the end of year Theatre Bugs show, the Credit Union Christmas Pageant and dancing in the Fringe Parade.
Georgia has a true passion for teaching and enjoys having so many opportunities to challenge and nurture the minds of her students. In 2016, she spent a semester volunteering at a local primary school providing extra help for those students who would have benefited from it. Realizing the passion she had for teaching she sought a job at Theatre Bugs commencing in 2017, excited that she would have the opportunity to assist children in a fun and inspirational environment.
