Delia danced before she walked, was singing before she talked and professed a passion for acting right from the get go. Through pursuing her interests, she has gained extensive experience acting in TV commercials, voice-overs, independent local projects and many theatre productions.
During the last year, Delia has acted in stage productions of ‘This Old Man Comes Rolling Home’ by Dorothy Hewett, ‘The Web’ by Kate Mulvany and ‘Lovers and Other Strangers’ by Joseph Bologna, which was nominated for The Best Ensemble Award at the ATG Curtain Call Awards. She also assistant directed a contemporary interpretation of ‘Macbeth’ as well as winning a Fringe Award for an ensemble-devised sensorial/technological piece performed in the Adelaide tunnels.
Delia performs as a vocalist and lyricist in two bands, sings at weddings and cooperate events and works as a private vocal and acting coach.
Previously having trained at Adelaide College of Arts, Delia is currently furthering her study at university, working towards a Bachelor of Arts Degree.
Delia is excited to be a member of the Theatre Bug team and looks forward to assisting in the growth of many aspiring performance artists.
