Theatre Bugs is now offering exciting performing arts courses in kindergartens and primary schools.
An experienced Theatre Bugs teacher can come to your kindergarten or school and conduct a course of *10 one hour workshops, culminating in a vibrant musical performance for your school community.
At Theatre Bugs, we pride ourselves in providing equal opportunities for all students, allowing each individual child to shine. Therefore, students not only learn popular songs and dances but are also given their own special character role to play.
The sessions include fun drama games, character development, music activities, dance warm ups and rehearsal of the selected show.
Your students will develop....
Teachers will receive a Teaching Guide and ongoing support from Theatre Bugs, to ensure your students gain maximum benefits from the program. This includes set, props and costume ideas as well as all materials needed to rehearse the show 'in between' Theatre Bugs sessions.
The programs are tailored to suit different year levels. Class teachers or support staff are expected to be in attendance at the sessions to assist the students learning.
We suggest that your school's show is performed in your school hall or gym. You can perform during the school day and/or an evening - it's up to you.
