Michaela - Teacher
B. Arts major in Drama and English

Ever since she can remember Michaela has loved the Performing Arts. As a child she undertook singing, ballet, jazz ballet and drama lessons. In school Michaela excelled in Drama, Dance and English and has now continued this into her tertiary education where she is undertaking a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Drama & English, at Flinders University; once completed she then plans to continue with her Bachelor of Junior Primary Education Degree.

Along with Performing, Michaela’s other great passion is children; she discovered her passion for working with kids in 2004 when she travelled to America to be a full time nanny. It was here that she combined her child care experience with her drama skills and would often create musicals for the children to perform to their family and friends.

Since her return to Australia, Michaela has been involved in amateur theatre productions and has worked extensively in professional child care; from child care centers to a teaching assistant at Annesley College Kindergarten.

Michaela is very excited to be a part of the Bugs team, and looks forward to watching her students blossom with their confidence and performance skills.
