Joni Combe - Director/Teacher
B.A. (Drama) Grad. Dip. Ed.

Joni has extensive and varied experience in the performing arts.
As a youth she studied ballet, drama and music and also performed
with her father, children’s entertainer, Peter Combe.

Joni studied a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Graduate Diploma
in Education before teaching Drama and Music at Pembroke
Junior School. During this time, Joni also worked as a presenter
on Channel 9’s ‘Here’s Humphrey’ and as ‘Rhapsody’ in
‘The Fairies’ DVDs. Joni creates all Theatre Bugs teaching
programmes and works as a choreographer, writer and director
for many of the productions.

Joni is also a parent herself with two young children,
Amelie and Hugo.
