Carolyn Ferrie - Teacher

At the age of eighteen, Carolyn landed a lead role with the Australian Opera, in The Turn of the Screw, and began a career that has taken her all over Australia
and to Europe where she played Jellylorum in the German CATS company.
While in Europe, she worked on television, recorded music, taught singing
and English, met a fellow cat and married him!

Carolyn has been in the original casts of major Australian productions such
as Phantom of the Opera, The Secret Garden, and Sound of Music, where she was thrilled to perform the role of Maria during the Adelaide season - earning
her rave reviews. Roles in other shows include Albert Herring, Fiddler on the Roof, Sweeney Todd, Guys and Dolls, Sydney Stories and Tell Me On A Sunday.

In addition to her musical theatre experience, Carolyn worked as a presenter
on ‘Here’s Humphrey’ for the years 1998 – 2000.

Carolyn is heard by millions worldwide as the voice of Dorothy the Dinosaur
from The Wiggles and has recently recorded the brand new “Dorothy the Dinosaur” TV series and solo album!

As well as performing numerous corporate events and concerts, Carolyn
enjoys being a Mum to her five year old son, teaching kids the joys of singing
and running a photographic business with her husband.
